In my last two posts, you could broaden your view on setting your goals. Whatever moment you choose, your dreams can be defined more precisely and become goals. The question is what to do to succeed in achieving your goals. Setting them is one thing and many self-help coaches offer various techniques how to set goals. But the problem is more complex.
Taking action and positive thinking are also necessary and each or these topics can be discussed in a separate blog. But how do you know when and which of these three aspects is used properly? You can know many techniques of setting your goals, time management or positive thinking. However, when they are not properly balanced, the result may disappoint you. Why? Let’s check.

Today I will only highlight you the most important points, the next posts will contain more thorough and authentic examples or the three “ingredients of the victory”. Yes, they are indispensable to win. Now let’s see how it works in case of the bow.
Firstly – without strong belief and faith in success, even the best goals will fail. In turn, lack of motivation will sabotage your action. Secondly, I mentioned one important thing at the end. When an arrow is finally released, you can only pray – using your inner power – thoughts. You have done all in the field of planning and execution – now it is the fate (or the crop of your thoughts) which will deal out cards.
What does it mean from the perspective of goals setting? Apart from yourself there is also the Universe, shaped by your thoughts. The result of your shot will depend on your careful planning, commitment to taking action and sending positive thoughts to the Universe. Hence, lack of faith or the presence of fear, will sabotage your effort. Your thoughts attract similar events, people and tools. They are like magnets – either plus or minus.
Think of a job or a business you were doing. How have you performed the task which was unpleasant or when you knew that the company would not benefit on it? Of course, it was tough and you failed very often. It was even worse when the task was both unpleasant and had no purpose in your life.
Have you noticed that many low-paid people work for the companies that are badly managed? They have also big job rotation, because the employees, seeing the business’ flaws, cannot do their best. As you can see – ineffective business attracts ineffective staff, who in turn work without commitment – seeing the company’s true image. The same is met in case of going to a language school – the best ones attract the best students – who in turn see their tutors’ high competences and commitment. Find your own example, similar to the ones mentioned above.
Positive or negative attraction usually is the result of thinking and beliefs – either positive or negative. Commitment, expressed in taking action and setting your goals – can have an impact on your thoughts to some extend.
If you do your best to work on your business, to prepare a better strategy, putting more effort in it – then even your thinking will change. You simply become proud of your work – unless you do it to please others – then the first criticism will cool down your enthusiasm. But this is not the attitude of the winner.
Summing up, if your vision of success lacks one of the ingredients: careful goals setting, taking action and positive contact with the Universe (mainly by your thoughts) – don’t expect positive outcome. These factors are interdependent – i.e. they have an impact on each other. All are of the same importance and ignoring any of them will sabotage your victory.
