Learn What Are the 3 Kinds Of Inner Empowerment.

Welcome after Easter. Have you ever wondered what kinds of help is actually available around you? You can learn various methods on the news and from the self-help books, but the information is often ambiguous. Furthermore, when you compare some sources, one piece of information contradicts the other. Just think that different systems of values can be represented by different media, and you will see the challenge.

Today I will do my best to give you at least the outline helping ways classification. There are probably more kinds found on the Internet and in the real world and you probably have your own way of division. However, let’s discover and test a new, simple classification. It will add a new value to your evaluation system of inner empowerment.

1. Counselling. There are times in your life when everything seems to look hopeless. Let’s assume that you have lost your partner or closest relative. Let’s assume that out of the blue – you are losing all your wealth, are evicted and left with nothing. Emptiness, sometimes financial problems can lead you straight to depression. The situation is even worse when you were accustomed to comfortable life and now it’s the time to take the challenge and learn new things. It is the time when you meet to talk out all your pain, frustration, anger and to find a new boost of motivation.

Even if you are a strong person, some situations might be challenging enough that you will need new methods of winning the crisis. Then counselling gives you a fresh look on your way of handling with the toughest tasks. Like in sport, sometimes additional training is necessary to improve the player’s performance.

2. Support. It is a much broader kind of help, provided not only by counsellers, but also by psychotherapists and all the people who uplift your spirit. Even your parents support you, if the relationship is healthy. You can also add your friends – especially the true ones, who are with you in need. During the toughest stage of emotional crisis you need constant positive feedback and one session is not enough. Support means a long-term assistance, before full recovery. However, support does not mean exemption from  responsibility – whatever it means. Yet you might ask where is the balance and this is another topic, which will be discussed in my next posts.
