I was shocked reading the latest news about Japan on the wall of my friend on Facebook. It seems that radiation will spread around the Northern Hemisphere and fixing of Fukushima has no end. The only question is what level of harmful substances will reach various countries. Gloomy vision, isn’t it?
However, you are reading the winner’s blog. It is also my challenge to handle the present situation. So what can we do? Sue TEPCO? Commit a suicide? Have you got any other solutions?
Before we resign from fighting for happy life, let’s find some ways to diminish the impact of the disaster – on your own situation. You may not be directly affected by the effects. Until you are alive, physically and mentally fit, you can act and change your situation. Staying vigilant – but calm – is a valuable asset now. Incredible? Let’s check some tips:
1. Think of the worst what might happen. Yes, of the worst. You cannot go out, air your room, buy food, go to the bank.. Forget about swimming in the sea, eating fish or any food from polluted areas. Scary, isn’t it? What would you do then? Is there anything in your life that is still driving you to fight? Are you able to resist the situation in any way?
2. Now think that you know that the worst happens… within the exact period of time. You know when it is the last time you can swim in the sea, go to the cafe, eat some fish. How will you spend the time which has remained? How will you prepare for the severe times? Will you find any reason to live in the disastrous period – or maybe will die?
3. Today we are often manipulated in the field of Japan disaster. It is not exactly said, what radiation level is actually now, in the US or Europe. More than that, pharmacists are trying to calm people down – discouraging from buying iodine as prevention. But you can do your own research and your best to protect – even now.
4. It is the easiest to ignore all what is painful, frightening, uncomfortable. But the monster will not go away and may attack out of the blue. Prepare your strategy. then, even if you die, you will know that you have fought and taken some initiative – not just been beaten.
The next steps soon. Stay tunned and leave your comment under this post. Thanks.
